The 4 Pillars to a Network Marketing Breakthrough – Part 4
A few days ago, we received a message from a guy named Jeremy on our Facebook fan page.
He expressed his frustration with his business. It wasn't growing fast enough, he felt like he was doing all the work, and he craved a big breakthrough in his business that would cause it to take off.
Jeremy isn't the only one that has vented his frustration to us before.
Why is my team not growing? Why can't I seem to get my business up off the ground? Why doesn't my team want this as much as me?
These are questions we get asked on a consistent basis by our fans and followers. Everyone wants that big breakthrough for their business and the holiday season is when people want it more than ever.
They'll make New Years Resolutions for their business and commit to running hard the next year so they can finally achieve their "rank" of freedom.
Whit and I were the same way. Toward the end of the year we'd make huge goals for ourselves and work out a game plan to explode our business the next year, only to have our business stuck in the same place a few months later.
Then, after attending an event the first part of 2016, we were given some advice by a mentor that completely changed our mindset toward building our business.
This advice lines up perfectly with our last pillar, which we believe is the most important pillar of all.
He said, "Your business will only ever be at the level of your ability to lead it."
Pillar #4 - Personal Growth & Leadership Development
There have been times in our business where we felt "stuck" and couldn't figure out why we weren't growing.
After being given this advice we now know that anytime we're stuck, it's because there is something we need to learn. Our business will never be bigger than we are.
Since then, we now invest no less than 15 minutes of time into bettering ourselves through personal development every single day.
The key here is that your mindset will preset your activity. If you want to be able to lead a team of people, your mind has to be conditioned as a leader.
There are many ways to make sure you get your 15 minutes of personal growth and leadership development in each day.
Whit and I read or listen to books, watch trainings done by our specific mentors, (Facebook Lives seriously make this so easy to do every day!) and then we take action on what we learn.
So if that's you, and you're feeling stuck with your business right now and you can't seem to move forward...
Start developing yourself into the leader you want to become. As you grow, you'll find more people want to follow you.
So if you want to finally have that breakthrough in your business this coming year, make sure your 4 pillars are in place. They include creating a 90 day game plan (one that can be duplicated in your teams), commit to an event cycle and build your business from event to event, start developing the 7 core habits we talked about last week, and dedicate no less than 15 minutes a day to personal growth and leadership development.
2017 is your year!
Make It Happen!
