The 4 Pillars to a Network Marketing Breakthrough – Part 3
The past couple weeks we've been talking about the 4 pillars that need to be in place in order to have a breakthrough in your network marketing business.
Pillar 3 has everything to do with the core habits that need to be exercised every single day in order to build a momentum in yourself and business that will finally push you past the barriers that may be holding you back!
Pillar #3 - Core Habits
There are 7 habits we're going to discuss today. Each one works in tandem with the other habits.
Habit #1- 100% Product User
In other words, be a product of the product. If you are promoting a service or product, isn't it only natural that you should be using that product or service yourself?
If you aren't using the majority of the products that your company has, you're leaving a ton of money on the table!
Think about it: Everything you do, your team will duplicate. Imagine how much volume you're missing out on by playing small.
Be using all of your company's products! People want to know you're using them and loving them!
Habit #2 - Increase your personal volume every month
Now I'm not saying to go out and buy a ton of products every single month that you don't need.
Increasing your personal volume each month simply means enrolling customers!
The FTC is really cracking down on the MLM industry right now. If company's don't have atleast 51% of their overall revenue coming from customers alone, they have a huge possibility as being deemed a "pyramid scheme."
What's the best way to ensure our company lasts and makes it through this huge shift in the industry?
By talking about our products to anyone and everyone and enrolling more customers into your own organization each month.
Habit #3- Invest in yourself
This habit is crucial to your success in this industry.
What do you do every day to make yourself better?
Your business cannot be any bigger than your ability to lead it.
We recommend no less than 15 minutes every single day of personal development. Whether it's with books, cd's, audio books, etc.
Be investing in yourself and your mind every single day!
Habit #4- Be a team player
If you're constantly worried about yourself and your own check, you won't make it very far in this industry.
Whit and I care more about our team's checks than we do our own.
You have to have a servant leader mentality.
If you aren't willing to go out and help your team, you might as well call it quits now.
This is NOT a lottery ticket. It's going to take a lot of hard work and service toward those in your downline.
If you focus on dollar signs, you get nothing.
Be the leader you want to be!
Habit #5- Duplication
Remember how I said everything you do your team will duplicate?
I mean EVERYTHING!
Make sure you're duplicating the proper behaviors in your team. From inviting and following up all the way to getting a new rep started right and building a business with that new rep.
The quickest way to achieve massive duplication is to bring people to events. The more people you have at events, the less personal training you have to do and the more fired up and ready they are to go conquer the world!
Habit #6- Presentations
Whit and I teach no less than 15 presentations a month. Our network marketing company doesn't really host "parties", but if you're in a company that focuses on parties and you aren't doing a MINIMUM of 15, that very well could be why your business isn't growing.
Momentum is all about the rate of exposure. The more people you show in a shorter amount of time, the faster things happen and your business grows.
Habit #7- Plug In
We cannot stress this enough...
Events - Events- Events
Promote - Promote - Promote
Magic happens at events. Even if you don't think you need them, there are people on your team that do.
Whit and I have never missed an event. As I talked about in an earlier blog post, we build our business from event to event.
(It's our way of tracking our business.)
Not only is it important to attend, but it's just as important to be attentive. I like to take notes. If you aren't engulfed in the event and learning, you aren't going to hear what you probably needed to hear.
On a side note, make sure you aren't talking smack about anyone in the company. People, especially new reps, want to feel safe in the environment of their company.
If you, their upline, is constantly complaining about your upline, sidelines or corporate staff, you aren't going to retain your new reps for very long.
To sum up, make sure you're practicing these 7 habits every single day.
Next week we're going over the 4th and final pillar that needs to be in place to help you reach the breakthrough in your business you want this next year.
