The 4 Pillars for a Network Marketing Breakthrough – Part 1
Everyone wants that breakthrough...
You know what I'm talking about... The breakthrough where everything finally comes together and your business explodes!
What if we told you a breakthrough was less than 90 days away for your business?
In today's training, we're going over the first pillar of the 4 pillars that need to be in place to create a network marketing breakthrough and how to implement it into your own business!
Pillar #1- 90 Day Game Plan
The first 90 days in business are critical. This is the amount of time most people give themselves in network marketing to start seeing results before they quit.
However, a goal without action is simply a wish.
In your and your new recruit's first 90 days, there needs to be a plan in place for them to follow to start seeing results.
Whit and I like to start our new reps off with a list of things to help them find success right away. It's a checklist of activities that will help them set their business up, establish proper expectations, and help them take action immediately!
Step 1- A Getting Started Checklist
It's important that everyone in your team gets started the same way. This creates proper duplication in your organization.
Some examples of what needs to be included in your getting started checklist include enrolling with a business pack, committing to getting trained by registering for the next event, using the products, setting goals, etc.
Step 2- Databasing
In your 90 day game plan, you need to make sure you're databasing (adding people to your list of names) so your list is always growing. This is something you'll be doing the rest of your network marketing career.
An important thing to remember about databasing is not to prejudge who you put on your list. You never know who will do this business with you. So put everyone on the list whether you think they'll be interested or not.
Another thing is to never stop looking for people. If you stop, you stop growing. It's easy to network on purpose while you're out and about. Always be making friends and adding them to your list.
Step 3- Inviting
Like databasing, this is going to be something you'll continue to do from here on out. If your business isn't growing, it's shrinking.
There is no standing still in network marketing.
A few tips for inviting includes remembering you're the messenger, not the message and that belief and positive energy are paramount to your success in inviting.
Do not tell people the story. Invite them to get the info from a 3rd party source and you'll see a much higher conversion rate in those that take a look at the info.
Understand the law of averages. The more people you invite, the more people you'll find that say yes.
If you can develop the skill set of inviting and effectively teach it to others, you'll create wealth in this industry. Plain and simple.
Step 4- Tell the Story
The story is simply a presentation or party depending on what company you're with.
A proper presentation includes your story, your company's/product's story, and how money is made.
Your story is going to build rapport with your prospect as well as develop the relationship of trust. If someone doesn't know, like, and trust you... they aren't going to do business with you.
Your company's story will involve the product you're passionate about as well as fun things like incentive trips and car programs.
If you don't know how you get paid in your opportunity, now is the time to learn. Money Talks! People want to know how they're going to get paid if they're going to promote something. You don't need to go into a ton of detail with the comp plan, but at least show them how they can make their money back as well as any residual bonuses you have.
Step 5- Follow Up
Following up is the key to success in network marketing.
80% of people will not buy from you or join your business on the first exposure. Connect with your prospect right after the meeting and make sure they have "homework" to do before you follow up again.
Make sure you're following up with people no longer than 24-48 hours after you've shown them the information. Help resolve concerns and always invite them to take the next step of either buying your product or joining your team.
Keep in touch with all contacts and speak with them and re-invite them every 60-90 days.
(Our Getting Started Checklist includes a daily activity and prospect tracker)
A duplicable 90 day game plan is the first pillar that needs to be in place to start seeing massive results in your business over the next 90 days.
We'll be going over the next 3 pillars in the following 3 blog post trainings. So stay tuned!
