A Key Factor That Can Help Build Your Business Faster
When we first started in this industry it took us 6 months to sponsor our first reps. 6 months!!!! And it wasn’t from lack of effort either. Are you kidding me? Obviously there was something in our business we were missing. (Or maybe we were just REALLY bad recruiters!lol) But it took us a while to have the light bulb go off on what was holding us back.
We were talking to a ton of people! Following up, more people, more follow ups, more meetings, more follow ups and nothing was happening. Sound familiar to anyone out there?
We have an awesome up line in our company that were almost begging us to let them help us. But we thought no way – it’s our business – we got this. (Maybe we had a little pride issue?)
Click on the video below to find out what happened when we finally took our mentor’s advice and used him to validate what we were telling our friends and family…
Do you realize how valuable it is to have a 3rd party validate what you are saying?
6 months into this business we were finally humbled enough to ask for help. Our mentor told us we needed to use more 3rd party validation. We got him on the phone with 3 people we’d been following up with that day and guess what… all 3 enrolled!
Think about this for a second… When you’re sitting down to show the information about your company with a friend, family member, or anyone else that you may know, how do they look at you? The people who are closest to you are generally the people that criticize you the most. They’re not looking at you as someone with authority. You need someone else, whether it be an upline, downline, crossline, anyline – whoever helps you in this business – to validate what you’re saying so people open their ears.
Different ways you can have someone validate you is by getting them on a 3 way call with your prospect, a google hangout or zoom meeting, or even introducing them to your prospect face to face.
Using a 3rd party to validate you is very very powerful and helps to set you up as a leader in your business.
